Built on Four Decades of Land Cruiser Knowledge
Cruiser Worx was born from something simple: a genuine, deep-rooted obsession with Toyota’s toughest machines. For over 40 years, we’ve been working on Land Cruisers, Prados, Hiluxes, Surfs, and the full family of Toyota’s heavy-duty platforms — not as a side interest, but as our daily work and our life’s focus.
Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, our shop has seen tens of thousands of hours of hands-on time with these vehicles. We’ve rebuilt engines, sourced glass from Japan, fitted floor mats to 40-year-old 70 Series trucks, and diagnosed problems that no manual could solve. That accumulated knowledge is what we bring to every order, every conversation, and every part we put our name on.
We Know These Vehicles
When you contact Cruiser Worx, you’re not talking to a fulfilment centre. You’re talking to people who have spent decades under the bonnets, on the frames, and inside the cabins of the exact vehicles you’re asking about. We understand the differences between a VDJ79 and an HZJ75. We know which 1KZ-T long blocks are worth rebuilding and which aren’t. We know why a 1HZ with a turbo upgrade changes the character of an 80 Series entirely — and how to do it right.
Our product range reflects that knowledge. Every part we stock or supply — from OEM-spec filters and seals to fully rebuilt 1VD-FTV engine packages — is something we’ve worked with directly. We don’t list parts we wouldn’t fit ourselves.
What We Do
Cruiser Worx supplies parts, components, rebuild services, and in-house fabricated accessories for the Toyota Land Cruiser family and related platforms across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Our range includes:
- OEM and OEM-spec mechanical components — filters, belts, bearings, seals, cooling, and more
- Automotive glass — genuine JDM windshields and panels, custom ordered and imported from Japan
- Complete and long-block engine rebuilds — 1VD-FTV, 1HZ, 1KZ-T, and other Toyota diesel platforms
- Used and tested parts from known-history vehicles
- EVA custom floor mats made to vehicle specification
- In-house designed and manufactured custom fabrications — including roof racks, ladders, bumpers, exhausts, kitchens, and more, built specifically for Toyota Land Cruiser platforms
- Professional installation services at our Burnaby facility
Designed and Built In-House
Beyond parts supply, we design and manufacture a growing range of custom components entirely in-house at our Burnaby shop. Roof racks, rear ladders, front and rear bumpers, custom exhausts, expedition kitchens, and other fabrications — all conceived and built with a single platform in mind: the Land Cruiser and its variants.
Because we build these ourselves, we control the fit, the finish, and the function. Every fabricated piece is designed around the real-world demands of these vehicles — whether that’s overlanding in remote terrain, daily use, or a dedicated expedition build. If you have a specific requirement, we’re equipped to design and build to brief.
